Professional cleaning and sanitisation
Yacht interiors need a different approach from conventional spaces. Fine fabrics, delicate materials, confined areas, humidity and intensive use call for professional treatment tailored to each surface.
Prua al Sole works directly on board, providing deep cleaning, dry cleaning, stain removal and sanitisation. We select the most appropriate technique for each case to achieve the best technically possible result while respecting the materials.
Interior care and treatment
Every service begins with a preliminary assessment of the surfaces and materials. We examine fabric type, condition, level of soiling and any stains to identify the safest and most effective treatment.
We do not apply one cleaning method to every surface. Techniques, products and equipment are selected according to the material being treated.
- Sofas and armchairs
- Interior cushions
- Mattresses
- Carpets and textile surfaces
- Interior curtains
- Leather and delicate upholstery
- Padded furnishings and other surfaces compatible with our treatment systems
Deep cleaning and extraction systems
Where the material allows, we use professional steam and injection-extraction systems. These work deep into the fibres to remove dirt, residue and contaminants accumulated during use or while the yacht is laid up.
Particular attention is paid to the most heavily used areas and to surfaces that tend to retain dirt deep within the fibres.
Dry cleaning for delicate surfaces
When water use must be limited or the material requires greater care, Prua al Sole can use dry-cleaning systems and professional foaming products.
This controlled technique is suitable for delicate carpets, sensitive upholstery and leather surfaces. It limits moisture while adapting the process to the specific material.
Dedicated products and procedures are used to clean and care for leather, which is never treated as an ordinary textile.
Having several methods available allows us to adapt the treatment to the material, never the material to the treatment.
Stain removal and fabric-specific treatment
Stain treatment is one of the most important stages of our work.
Before work begins, we assess the stain’s origin together with the material, colour and fibre condition, selecting products, concentrations and procedures suited to the surface.
When required, stain removal is carried out separately from general cleaning, targeting the areas most affected.
The aim is to achieve the best technically possible result without subjecting the material to unnecessarily aggressive treatment, preserving its appearance, feel and colour wherever possible.
Sanitisation and interior quality
Yacht interiors are particularly exposed to humidity, limited ventilation and the prolonged presence of textiles and padding in enclosed spaces.
Cleaning can therefore be complemented by professional sanitising and deodorising treatments applied to surfaces and, where appropriate, to the interior environment.
The result is more than visual: our aim is to return cleaner, fresher and better-cared-for interiors that are more pleasant to live in, tangibly improving how the yacht is experienced by the owner, guests and crew.
The Prua al Sole method
Every yacht is treated as a project in its own right.
Material analysis → technique selection → pre-treatment and stain removal → deep or dry cleaning → extraction where appropriate → sanitisation → final inspection.
By combining injection-extraction, steam, dry cleaning, foaming products and specialist treatments, we can build each service around the yacht’s real requirements.
More than simple cleaning: a professional treatment dedicated to caring for, restoring and enhancing on-board interiors.
